Student Incubation Centre to Develop Socially and Commercially Viable Start-ups

NGI NewGen IEDC is a Business Innovation and Incubation Centre that supports Innovative Idea of Students at College level. The main aim is to create an Entrepreneurial mindset in Educational Institutions. Since, there is need of technology-driven and knowledge-based enterprises in today’s world. Now-a-days there are number of new ventures or start-ups upcoming in the country. NGI NewGen IEDC will be a platform for Technology and Innovation where the young ones can convert their ideas into a commercially viable business.

About NGI NewGen IEDC

NewGen IEDC makes the students to have practical experience or make industry experienced professionals to give shape to their business ideas. So that, the Students are “Encouraged to be Job Creators and not Job Seekers”, i.e., the Technocrats should no longer give preference to Campus placements and are motivated to design their own Innovative Idea to Launch Start-ups. Most of the Start-ups Launch, require Financial and Technical support. NGI NewGen IEDC provides Rs.2.5 Lakhs as Student Start-up Grant-in Aid which is supported by National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, New Delhi. Moreover, the Student Start-ups will have benefits including Mentorship, Expertise and Networking.
