Dr T Jayaprakash is presently working as a Professor in Physics at Nehru
Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. He is working as the Chief Coordinator for
Nehru Group of Institutions: New Generation Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Development Centre (NGI—New Gen IEDC), supported and funded by NSTEDB, DST,
Govt. of India, New Delhi. He has completed his M.Sc., and M.Phil., in Physics.
at Periyar University, Salem, and Ph.D., in Physics at Anna University, Chennai.
He holds 16 years of teaching experience in reputed engineering colleges. He
has published 24 research articles in reputed National and International
Journals, also presented 22 research articles in National & International
conferences. He has published Engineering Physics text books and lab
manuals. He has been recognized as a Ph.D. supervisor (Supervisor No.: 3070012) by
Anna University, Chennai. He is a reviewer for various reputed journals, and he
has visited Malaysia for the purpose of presenting the research articles and acting as a
conference chair. He has acted as a Mentor for three students Start –ups funded
by NGI – New Gen IEDC, supported by NSTEDB, Department of Science and
Technology (DST), Govt. of India. He has received the grant from CSIR – HRDG,
two times for organizing conferences and seminars. He has published 10 patents in
Indian Patent Journal to his credit. He has organized various EAC, EDP, WEDP, TEDP, & FDP sponsored by DST – NIMAT, Boot camps, Hackathons, Workshops, Seminars, Conferences, Bridge Courses, and Best Teacher Award functions of Nehru Group of Institutions.
